What does the next retry really cost?

Buying another challenge feels like one fee. With your real pass rate it is several. Type the fee, how many times you have paid it, and your chance of passing: see the expected cost of getting funded and the odds of burning your budget first.

Each attempt is treated as independent with the same chance of passing. If you change nothing between attempts, that is roughly what happens.

The fee is not the price. The pass rate is.

Same fee, same budget: only the chance of passing changes.

How it is calculated

If each attempt passes with probability p, the number of attempts until the first pass follows a geometric distribution: on average 1 ÷ p attempts, so the expected cost is the fee ÷ p (minus one fee if it is refunded with the first payout). With a budget that buys k attempts, the chance of passing at least once is 1 − (1 − p)k.

Where do I get my pass rate?

From the pass simulator, using your win rate, R:R and risk. If you are not sure of those numbers, your trade history has them.
